Define metadata to any file

When you need to define metadata to a file you may do it in the following way.

Create an XML file named as “<filename>.meta.xml”

There are som keywords recognized by GEODI like Projection, geom and not. All other key values are recognized as user content and may be used to address the content by “key:<search rule>” syntax.

General Schema

<metadata>
	<META_NAME>Kolon1</META_NAME>
	<META_VALUE>Değer1</META_VALUE>

EPSG veya WKT Projeksiyon samples

If you need a projection setting for a file (like a DWG) you may use the following definition.

	<META_NAME>Projection</META_NAME>
	<META_VALUE>EPSG:4326</META_VALUE>
</metadata>

<metadata>
	<META_NAME>Projection</META_NAME>
	<META_VALUE>WKT projection</META_VALUE>

Content Sample

Use following meta to add text content to any file.
