SharePoint connection is on Cloud Drives. Files in the selected folders will be indexed. Ignore, and other rules apply. 

With Sharepoint Online and Sharepoint Onpremise option, you can connect to your sharepoint account with Online or OnPremise installation.

You must provide an authorized SharePoint user.

You may define different connections to the same site with different rules, like OCR on/off or different discovery coverage.    

> ℹ️ GEODI data remediation actions run on multiple platforms, including this source type. To execute workflows such as **deletion** or **in-place classification**, two conditions must be met at the source level:
> ℹ️ 
> ℹ️ - 📌 **Enable Remediation Workflows must be checked**. By default, this option is disabled. Starting with GEODI 9.0.148, for the project to continue and actions to run, the “Enable Remediation Workflows” checkbox must be selected in the project source, and the project must be saved again.
> ℹ️ - 📌 **User Permissions:** The user/credential definitions used to access the source must have **write permissions**.

# SharePoint Online

To connect an account, a redirect is made to the MS Site. After entering the Username and password, the directory you want to be discovered is selected.

# SharePoint On Premise

> ✅ 1. An Onprem SharePoint service access address
> ✅ 2. A SharePoint account with minimum read privileges, the scope of discovery will be limited to that user's access.

The Service Address to be Connected, User Name and Password information is filled in the relevant field. After the connection is established, the directory that you want to discover is selected.

# Trouble Shooting

1. While making Sharepoint online connection, make sure that your machine has internet.
2. If the Username Password is entered incorrectly, a `401` warning code is received. You should check the login username and password information.
3. `"Cannot contact site at the specified URL"` warning is received when your Service Address is entered incorrectly. When this warning is received, you should check your service address.
